Q.1 How can I get Application form for RPET-2008?

Ans. You can download Application Form from our website www.rtu.ac.in/rpet-2008   or can Zerox from the Hindi News Paper of All Rajasthan edition of 5or 6thApril, 2008.

 

Q.2. What will be the procedure for filling the Application Form?

Ans. Following procedure is to be adopted for submitting application forms:

A.       Application form in Two copies

B.        Required documents in Two Sets

C.        One D.D. of Rs. 900/- only in Favour of "Coordinator, RPET-2008" payable at Kota

D.       Only Three Self Addressed Envelopes ( One A-4 size affixing stamp of Rs. 30/- and Two 6X10cms. affixing stamp of Rs.5/-)

E.         For XII appearing students enclosed zerox of admit card of XII Exam. or Certificate from Last school attended and submit proof of pass mark-sheet latest by 10.6.2008

F.         Senders Envelope should mark "DDNo.  & Choice of Town" on top of envelope and

Q.3. May I eligible in case I have passed XII with Biology and opted Maths as optional Subject?

Ans. Students are eligible whose passed/appearing  XII Exam. with following subjects

                          Physics & Mathematics as Compulsory Subject and

                          Any one of following optional subject:

                          i.     Chemistry                                    ii.   Biology

                          iii.  Computer Sc.                             iv.  Bio-Technology

 

Q.4. Who will Conduct Pharmacy Entrance Test?

Ans. Rajasthan Medical University, Jaipur will conduct Pharmacy Entrance Test this Year. RPET-2008 will not conduct entrance test for  B.Pharma/D.Pharma from this year. See 3.1 (D) of brochure/booklet of RPET-2008 available on website www.rtu.ac.in

 

Q.5. I am interested in Architecture Course Only. Whether I should appear in RPET-2008?

Ans.  You need not to appear in RPET-2008. For admission to B.Arch. course a candidate must appear for NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the council of Architecture. However, their admission shall be decided by admission committee of RPET–2008 based on the ranking of NATA and marks in the qualifying examination.

                                                                                       

Q.6. May I eligible? I am not studying in Rajasthan since last Three years.

Ans. In that case you should have any one of following certificate

a.       Domicile certificate of Rajasthan of Father/Mother/Self (enclose attested copy of certificate issued by Executive Magistrate)

OR

b.         Enclose Certificate issued by employer  if Father/Mother of the candidate is

i.         Serving /Retired employee of Rajasthan Govt./Govt. of  Rajasthan undertakings/ University/ Rajasthan Govt. Autonomous bodies

ii.        Central Govt. /public sector undertaking employee serving in the state of Rajasthan

iii.     Employee of Rajasthan origin serving in Central Govt./ Public Undertaking/ Defence/ National institutes of Govt. of India in States other than Rajasthan.

 

Q.7.  What  is the Lower  & Upper Age Limit ?

Ans. Lower Age Limit is waived off from this year? Upper age limit is 23 Years up to 1.10.2008(Relaxation of 3 years to SC/ST candidates)
