NOTIFICATION FOR STUDENTS, PARENTS and AFFILIATING INSTITUTIONS of RTU

- All the parents & students are requested to ascertain before taking admission to any Technical Institute in the state affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria required for admission in that particular course and have requisite original documents in support of their claim at the time of admission. Head of the technical Institutions/Colleges are required to ensure above before giving admission to any candidate.
- Head of the Technical Institutions/Colleges should ensure compliance of point No. 1 before granting admission in their respective college/institutions. As per the condition laid by AICTE in its approval to various technical institutes, it is mandatory that the admissions to the courses shall be made only after the affiliating university has given permission to start the course.
- No institution is permitted to start new courses (Undergraduate and/or Post Graduate) and admit students thereof without prior approval of its scheme and syllabi from the University. The list of approved schemes and then syllabi are available on the University web site (www.rtu.ac.in).
- No admission to any of the approved courses in any approved institute shall be made/taken by the students after the last date of admission notified by RTU for each session.
- Student/parents are also required to ensure that colleges/institutes have adequate infrastructure and all other facilities as per norms and guidelines of the AICTE. Such norms and provisions are available on the AICTE website www.aicte.ernet.in.
- No excess admissions shall be made by the Institutions over and above the approved intake by AICTE under any circumstances.
- The institutions shall operate only from the approved location, and that the institutions shall not open any off campus study centers/extensions centers directly or in collaboration with any other institution/university/organization for the purpose of imparting technical education without obtaining prior approval from the AICTE and University.
- The tuition and other fees shall be charged as prescribed by the Competent Authority (Fee Committee of the State constituted in compliance of Supreme Court directives) within the overall criteria prescribed by the Council from time to time. No capitation fee shall be charged from the students/guardians of students in any form.
- The institute shall take appropriate measure for prevention of ragging in any form in the light of direction of Supreme Court of India.
- No change of branch or college is allowed without prior written approval of the university as per the University rules (the rules are available on the RTU Web site : www.rtu.ac.in)
The rejection cancellation of enrolment/degree at any stage of such candidates admitted in violation of above notification will be the sole responsibility of student himself/concerned institute/s.
